Join us for a fun, family friendly evening of creativity and community! This free event is hosted by students from Community On Stage – Summer Arts Academy and is open to performers and audience members of all ages.

Whether you want to take the stage or simply enjoy the show, everyone is welcome.

Food, games, and a welcoming atmosphere will make this a great night for families, friends, and anyone who loves the arts.

  • We welcome a variety of performances, including:

    • Singing
    • Acoustic instruments
    • Spoken word or poetry
    • Comedy
    • Short performances of any kind

    Performers can play acoustically or with a backing track.

    Equipment available:
    • Piano
    • Microphones
    • Sound system
    • Guitars

    If you have your own instrument or equipment you are welcome to bring it.

  • Open Mic Night is designed to be fun, relaxed, and welcoming. Our goal is to create a space where people of all ages can share their talents and enjoy the creativity of our community.

    There will also be food and games available throughout the evening, making it a great event for families and friends to attend together.

  • Community On Stage – Summer Arts Academy is a week long summer program in Tiffin, Ohio where young artists ages 11–16 explore the performing, visual, and technical arts.

    Our mission is to create an inclusive environment where students can discover their creative potential, learn from professional artists, and collaborate with others who share their passion for the arts.

    Open Mic Night is one of the many ways our students help bring creativity into the wider community.

Do I need to register to attend?
No. This event is free and open to the community. Just come and enjoy the evening.

Do I need to sign up to perform?
Performers can sign up when they arrive. Performances will be scheduled based on the order of sign ups.

Is there an age limit to perform?
No. Performers of all ages are welcome.

How long can performances be?
To give everyone a chance to perform, each act will typically be limited to a few minutes or 1-3 songs.

Can I bring a backing track?
Yes. You are welcome to bring a backing track for your performance.

Is this event family friendly?
Yes. Open Mic Night is designed to be welcoming and appropriate for all ages.
